Back In Texas
Looks as if Rosie and I will be in Laredo tonight.
I have not heard where my next load is taking me.
I’m needing some time off but my dispatcher doesn’t seem willing to give me a break.
I’ve made a few more tweeks on the blog.
What do you think?
Is it easy to read? Can you find everything?

Utterz Makes It Simple!
Rob Singleton of Robsingleton.net turned me on to this new thing called Utterz.
Utterz has made it simple to add your own utterz (voice) onto your blog or website. It took me about three minutes to set up a free account, another three minutes to set up the widget and then, I just call a number on my cell phone, record what I want to say and Utterz does the rest. Within ten minutes, my message is on my widget on my blog. Too Cool.
I think what I may try is to create a new post and then Utterz it. You know what I mean? You can read along with me, or something like that.
We will try it out, and of course, I would love to hear what you think.

The Last Word on BlogRush
This will be my Final Post on BlogRush.
BlogRush announced the arrival of BlogRush Phase 2.
In an E-mail today, BlogRush said this:
The massive BlogRush “Phase 2″ is now active!
New Dashboard, new reports, new widget sizes, and a lot more!
Please start by watching this VIDEO that will explain how to use it all:
http://www.blogrush.com/vphase2
* It’s very important that you watch the video FIRST
or you will miss out on some of the new additions.
Personally, I have no problem with the widget they want me to use or the extra exposure that my blog gets due to my post exposures on others blogs (some do), however, I am very disappointed in the management of the BlogRush people.
My number one concern is the fact that they discriminately removed blogs from the service because they did not meet quality guidelines set by the management. Here is what they said in an earlier e-mail:
We’ve just completed a massive SWEEP of our entire network. We’ve
removed over *10,000* blogs (Yes, ten thousand) that did not meet our
new Quality Guidelines.
We have done a huge “quality control audit” of our network and have
reviewed all the blogs one-at-a-time. We will continue to review each
NEW blog that is ever submitted to our network.
I have looked at many of the blogs they cut from their service and frankly, I did not see any sites that I thought were not worthy of having the BlogRush widget on their page. As a matter of fact, I saw many blogs that were great, no advertisements and very professional in content. Here is just one example of a blog that was removed from BlogRush: SK Design A great looking site! Why cut SK?
I will keep the BlogRush widget for now, but I am still investigating the BlogRush system, management and their protocols.
