A Stormy Monday
Houston Hospital Weekend
Yes, I spent the week-end at the LBJ General Hospital in Houston Texas.
We had some chest pains that could not be explained. Being on the safe side, we went to the ER at LBJ Hospital. They performed hundreds of test including a stress test, x-rays, cat-scan, blood, liver, kidney and more.
I learned I don’t have a heart problem, I don’t have a lung problem and we are pretty sure I’m not pregnant.
What is wrong? While I was writing this post, the doctors came in and they don’t know either. It could be muscle, bone structure or a combination of the two. It might be a nerve problem but they don’t know.
What they do know is I am healthy as a horse. My sugar is great, cholesterol is good, blood pressure was perfect, blood counts were on the money and no warning signs of any type.
So today, they are letting me go back to work.
I’ll get in the truck and head east to get a load going to Kansas. We should be rolling by noon.

From North To South
Left Michigan today headed back to Laredo Texas.
What a nasty weather day it is. It got so foggy, visibility was cut to about 200 yards. Rain and fog make for a very stressful day when you load, secure and tarp in the rain. The traffic was terrible too.
I was going for the sympathy angle. Am I getting any?
