BigDadGib Endorses McCain/Palin Ticket
John McCain and Sarah Palin
What a wonderful speech Sarah Palin gave at the Republican Convention. It is so refreshing to see a lady in the race who acts like a lady. I have no fear of Palin as VP or anything else our country may call her to do.

CBS News
Hi BigDadGib,
My name is Emily Lamont, and I work at CBS News. This week, the CBS EVENING NEWS aired a really great segment that I thought you and your readers might be interested in.
Earlier this year we went inside Obama’s campaign headquarters in Chicago. Check out that clip here - http://youtube.com/watch?v=N6-FHxPy0E0&feature=user

No Kudos For Katie Couric
I saw this as being very interesting…
MEDIA RESEARCH CENTER
MRC NEWS REPORT FOR JULY 11, 2008
From the Desk of:
Douglas C. Mills, Executive Vice President
Kudos to ABC’s World News for actually reporting good news from the
Iraq War. On Tuesday night, ABC’s Martha Raddatz cited "some really
impressive gains" as she reported the plummeting number of attacks in
Baghdad.
Apparently none of the other networks saw the value in good news about
the war. Most networks simply ignored the news; NBC’s Jim Miklaszewski
only noted less violence in Iraq in contrast to a "record number of
Americans killed in Afghanistan last month."
Over on the CBS side of things, positively perky Katie Couric did
mention a downturn in the violence before delivering a left hook
about ill-equipped hospitals in Iraq.
