BigDadGib Meets BigWhiteHat
Back many years ago, I wanted to start a blog, so I Googled my BigDadGib name to see if it was being used. The Google search came back with BigWhiteHat. So I went to BigWhiteHat and found a real cool Texan. That’s how I came to know Zane.
Zane, the man under that big white hat, was one of the first blogs I had ever seen. I tried to model my pages like Zane’s. He has always been a good read.
Some five or more years later, I get to meet the man. What a true pleasure it was to finally meet and sit down with BigWhiteHat. I got to meet the whole gang and Zane has been truly blessed with a fine family.
Thanks Zane, let’s do it again soon.

A Rat Hole?
I was at a truck stop in Missouri and parked next to an open corn field. I was doing my log book when I caught something move out of the corner of my eye.
Out the window and just ten feet from my front tire was a hole in the ground. I watched for awhile but never saw anything. Then, I caught another glimpse of movement. I pulled out the camera and decided to try and capture the little critter on film.
I saw his nose stick out the hole but the above picture is all I got. Then he ran across from one hole to the other.
I knew if I was patient, I could catch a good shot, but he was fast…
That’s when I found that there were more than just one rat in the rat hole.
Thinking I could lure one out, I tossed a big piece of bread out near the hole… Holy Toledo…
I got my picture!… I think he was happy to give me the picture too… LOL
WALL STREET BAILOUT PLAN
Once upon a time a man appeared in a village and announced to the villagers that he would buy monkeys for $10 each.
The villagers, seeing that there were many monkeys around, went out to the forest and started catching them.
The man bought thousands at $10 and, as supply started to diminish, the villagers stopped their effort. He next announced that he would now buy monkeys at $20 each. This renewed the efforts of the villagers and they started catching monkeys again.
Soon the supply diminished even further and people started going back to their farms. The offer increased to $25 each and the supply of monkeys became so scarce it was an effort to even find a monkey, let alone catch it!
The man now announced that he would buy monkeys at $50 each! However, since he had to go to the city on some business, his assistant would buy on his behalf.
In the absence of the man, the assistant told the villagers: ” Look at all these monkeys in the big cage that the man has already collected. I will sell them to you at $35 and when the man returns from the city, you can sell them to him for $50 each.”
The villagers rounded up all their savings and bought all the monkeys for 700 billion dollars.
They never saw the man or his assistant again, only lots and lots of monkeys!
Now you have a better understanding of how the WALL STREET BAILOUT PLAN WILL WORK !!!!
Thanks, BEV
Blogrolling Hacked Up
It looks as if the blog-rolling list by www.blogrolling.com are working again even though the site still has problems.
They have been such a good service. I trust the offending hacker will get his just reward!
