Just a Bunch Of Wind?
While traveling through north-west Texas yesterday, I had the chance to see many wind farms along the way. These giant wind-mills turn in the wind and produce electric power.
What most people are not aware of is this.
When the mills are turning in a counter-clockwise rotation, they are producing AC (alternating current) power that can be used for electric consumption in the home and work place.
But,
When the mill is turning in a clockwise rotation, the mill then produces DC (direct current) power which is used in batteries. This DC power is piped underground to a holding tank where the raw DC power is loaded into bulk tankers and trucked to the battery manufacturer.
I am glad I could explain this to you.

Do you reckon you could see your way clear to pick me up a six pack of DC power and drop it by here sometime on your way through? I got my new camera yesterday and I could really use some DC current to top off my rechargeable batteries.
Hey, I’ll even cook you a meal if you come by to visit!
You and Rosie stay cool and safe.
Love, hugs, and all that mushy stuff,
Diane
